Member for Dalrymple Shane Knuth has blamed both major parties for putting North Queensland lives at risk over their lack of urgency on the Crocodile danger in North Queensland.

The call comes as rangers and police were called to the Cairns Esplanade on Friday morning after two crocodiles were spotted on the northern end of the Esplanade.

“This is unacceptable and a clear threat and danger to not only human life, but to the entire tourism industry in North Queensland,” said Knuth

Knuth said the KAP have taken up the fight and will commit to North Queensland that action will be taken when elected.

“We will be claiming back our waterways,” said Knuth
